Golfclub Entfelden

'Golf among friends.' This statement sums it up perfectly.

Golfclub Entfelden is extremely conveniently located directly on the Zurich–Bern axis and is known far and wide for its friendly, personal atmosphere.

Guests are warmly welcome at all times and play on summer greens all year round. You can reach Golfclub Entfelden in around 40 minutes by car from Zurich.

The course

Founded in 1986, Golfclub Entfelden has the only 18-hole course in the canton of Aargau. It is a course with two fundamentally different faces. On the one side are the first nine holes, opened after the extension from 9 to 18 holes in 2004. They lie in open terrain, bordered on one side by the river Suhre and on the other by orchards.

The second nine are on the original layout, with rather short but technically demanding holes. The fine old trees flank the fairways and call for tactical, precise play. Long hitters do not have it easy here.

The course is completely flat and compact, with mostly short walks from the greens to the next tee.

In clear weather, enjoy a lovely view from the front nine all the way to the Bernese Alps!

Golfclub Montfort Rankweil

Golfclub Montfort Rankweil lies at the heart of the Vorarlberg Rhine valley, on the edge of the Rankweil Weitried plain, and is very easy to reach. The grounds cover 60 hectares, 2.7 of which are water, with ponds and a stream. Alongside ducks, swans and fish, the golf park is also home to birds of prey and foxes.

The course

Play on this course is a special challenge for golfers of every handicap class: on the first nine, the tee shot must be well judged and placed as accurately as possible, whereas the second nine, with their wide landing zones, demand or allow correspondingly long drives to reach the green in regulation.

The greens are strictly guarded by strategically placed bunkers and, thanks to their contouring, need to be read well. The 14th, a par 3, raises the adrenaline, as the green sits as an island in the middle of one of the two large water ponds. For long hitters, the dead-straight 8th at 567 m from white is a real test.

Enjoy varied and challenging golf at Montfort Rankweil!
